Custom-Sized Stretcher Bars for Tufting and Canvas Stretching

Our high-quality stretcher bars are designed for securely stretching tufting cloth, artist canvas, canvas prints, and similar materials. These custom-cut bars, available per centimeter, fit together easily using a traditional "tongue and groove" system to form a stable stretcher frame.

Crafted from laminated pine wood, our stretcher bars are kiln-dried to a precise 15% moisture content to ensure maximum stability and prevent warping. Each bar features a raised bead edge (kraalrand) to minimize direct contact between the cloth and the frame, helping to preserve your work over time.

Once assembled, the frame can be tightened using wooden wedges (included) that are tapped into each inside corner, allowing you to perfectly tension your tufting cloth. After mounting the tufting fabric onto the frame, simply staple it along the edges for a smooth, professional finish. For easier and more precise tensioning, we recommend using a canvas stretching tool.
