For tufting you will need a solid tufting setup with a tufting frame. Building a tufting frame doesnt need to be hard. The most important thing is that it doesn''t wobble, you need to be able to lean on it. Think about a contruction that leans on the wall. Carpet grippers are ideal for stretching your cloth.
