I am now tufting for about 3/4 months. What I like most about tufting is the fact you can bring almost anything to life.
What is specific about my style is that I like to make sure the rug is really packed with yarn. I get my inspiration from my interests outside of tufting, like sneakers and music.
The Kaws rug was one I had plans to do right from the start and I’m so happy with how it came out, it was definitely a challenge but I’m glad it’s made and I enjoyed the process!
A tip for others is always make sure you speak to others in the community, you can learn so much more than watching YouTube videos sometimes.
