Troubleshooting: why do I get holes in my tufting cloth?

If you get holes in you tufting cloth or it tears from tufting, consider the following:

  1. Do you have good cloth? See blogpost on what makes a good tufting cloth.
  2. Do you apply enough pressure? Be sure to press hard enough against your cloth. The foot of your tufting gun should be leaning on the cloth.
